I’m a London-based Midweight Art Director with experience at Ogilvy GTB and Leo Burnett Turin, creating integrated campaigns for Ford, Samsung, Southwest Trains, Jeep, Fiat and other global brands.
My work sits at the junction of concept and craft, developing ideas that feel simple, look confident, and translate across film, social, and print. I’m hands-on from scamps to shoot, comfortable using AI and collaborating with copywriters, photographers, directors, and post teams to deliver sharp, recognisable visual worlds.
After almost a decade in agency life, I took time out to pursue a side project: working as a crab fisherman on the Cornish coast. It was a reset after losing a family member and a reminder of what pressure, perspective, and teamwork really mean. That experience grounded me; it informs the way I approach creativity, steady under stress, practical, and always looking for beauty in grit.
Now back in the creative industry, I bring that same discipline and clarity to every project.
I’m currently open to freelance or permanent creative roles.
Thank you!
"I had the pleasure to manage Keir Fernie at WPP/GTB for a number of years and saw him grow into a well rounded creative. He learns fast and believed in being responsible for a brief and any job at hand. He is one of these creatives that always want to learn new things, asks questions and then applies his learnings. He will look at briefs from all angles and deliver solutions in any media, no boundaries of digital, social, experiential, print or film. He is particularly confident overseeing photographic and film shoots and delivers for his young age. Undeniably, Keir is a very enthusiastic and creative person. He is very social and will surely bring lots of laughter and energy into any creative department and the agency at large."

"Keir is a lively, effervescent fellow packed with ideas. He also brings an old school art director's love of craft to modern advertising, obsessing over every pixel."
Fred Barber - Senior Copywriter
"Keir spent 9 months with me at Leo Burnett and was a pleasure to work with. His ideas and visualisation skills were great and his conceptual thinking really impressed me. I hope to work again with him even though his Italian was terrible."
